Here at RUSC, we always have a vibrant social calendar. The autumn term usually begins with an introduction to a RUSC fresher’s night out where all new and old members get to meet each other and party the night away in one of Reading’s famous student bars. The term then ends with a RUSC Christmas Meal usually at a restaurant on the waterfront in central Reading.

Other planned events from the year are attending, as a club, the University Sports Federation black tie ball, the Wet Dream social which proves to be carnage as over 120 sailors from university’s across the country are involved, and a Pimms BBQ in the Summer Term.

As well as the above, further socials are organised throughout the year usually taking on fancy dress form including pirates and sailors, pub golf and an emergency social to name but a few from the past year.
