Tonight members we have had our committee handover meeting.

For those of you who were not at the AGM the new committee is as follows:

Committee Positions 2009-2010

Hello Sailors!

Would you like to be the future of the sailing club?

We have a position for you! If you are interested please let us know by next Tuesday and be available to give a short presentation at the AGM (Weds) about why you'd be good for the role;

Commodore
Team Captain
Treasurer
Social Secretary*
Secretary
Vice Commodore
Vice Team Captain
Boson*

*available for one or more people can have vices in these positions.

Descriptions:

Commodore:
Runs the club, keeps an eye on all the different aspects; social sailing, team racing, socials, trips, Wet Dream etc. Heads up the entire society attending RUSU meetings and running our meetings.

Team Captain:
Is in charge of selecting and running team racing including the events that are attended.Plays a large role in running the Wet Dream.

Treasurer:
In charge of managing all the incoming and outgoing money through the various accounts the club has.

Social Secretary*:
Organises the socials including fancy dress, free drinks, q jump, VIP etc and all the stash for the club.

Secretary:
Does all the admin for the club including minutes for all meetings.

Vice Commodore:
Helps the Commodore with general day to day running of the club and steps in when they are unavailable. Organises weekly sailing emails.

Vice Team Captain:
Helps the team captain with running and coaching the team and keeping the fireflies in order. Also helps with applying and organising weekends away to team racing events.

Boson*:
Keeps all the boats in good working order, is especially busy during the Wet Dream!

Our AGM is NEXT WEDNESDAY! We have the voting in Palmer and then move to Cintra prior to the union all whilst dressed as pirates and sailors, this is probably the biggest of all our socials so GET INVOLVED!!
