Welcome to RUSC 2011

If you're coming to Reading for the first time or returning back to uni, come and find us at the Freshers Fayre!

RUSC meets at least once a week to go sailing at a near-by lake, Burghfeild Sailing Club with both beginners and seasoned sailors being just as welcome.

We take teams to about 5 or 6 events a year around the country as well as hosting our own event 'The Wet Dream' over a weekend in February when 16 other universities come and enjoy the nightlife of Reading and race during the day.

Although we mainly sail Larks and Fireflys we have a few other boats and are looking at getting some yatching started - so keen yatch sailors please get involved too.

The sailing club has a strong social life with some great dress up nights into town, trips to the union as well as casual catch ups at the pub.

Freshers 2010-2011

Hello!

Soon it will be Freshers Week; if you are a new student here or have already been hanging around the Ding for a while, come and find us at the fayre to sign up for a taster session / join the club.

We do both Team Racing and fun sailing, with the option of also competing in fleet racing events.

So whether you want to race or just have fun on the water, we are the club for you!

Join us and you will get:
